The Artisan Group is proud to announce today’s Artist Spotlight Feature is Lindsay Van Cleave of Everistta!
EVERISTTA
I’m the one woman jewelry guru behind Everistta. You will find statement necklaces, simple chic necklaces, and large chunky bracelets and also bracelets you can layer for everyday wear. I’m a big fan of layering; just ask if you want guidance on how to layer my pieces with your own jewels. My shoppe focuses on vintage fashion that captures the glamour and romance of the past, melded with modern elements of today’s fashion. I am absolutely enamored by fashion from the early 1900s, especially the 1950s. I love that everyone dressed to the nines, even just to go shopping or for a short walk. I take a lot of inspiration from that era and design my pieces to be current in today’s changing trends, but still have a touch of vintage glamour. This Fall I am focusing on the beauty of raw, natural gemstones juxtaposed with chic vintage and modern elements. I can’t wait to share the collection in the next few months.
I also design custom Bridal jewelry that is another passion of mine. I love bringing a Bride’s design vision to life on one of the most special days of their lives. You will see examples of my Bridal work in my shop, but I welcome custom pieces.
What is your favorite product from your shoppe and why?
My favorite product has to be my signature “Knot” necklace. Its glam, has a vintage feel and you can layer it with everything or you can keep it simple depending on your mood. I’m in the process of re-vamping it for fall with a vintage clasp and a chic rose gold bead. I’m really excited to introduce more vintage materials into my jewelry as I collect them.
I love, love designing for my shop and growing my business, but when I’m not, spending time with my fiancé, who has been my constant cheering section, and my family takes the cake. I would like to say playing with my French bulldog puppy, but hopefully that will happen in the near future! As far as hobbies, I like photography, traveling, running and to be completely honest if I’m on a work “break”, I can’t resist a good fashion magazine and my DVR. Guilty!
What do you like best about The Artisan Group?
I have been amazed everyday by the support and talent that comes from The Artisan Group. Everyone is so passionate and supportive of each other. Even though some of us sell in the same category, it’s nice that everyone is still supportive and wants each other’s businesses to flourish. I love logging onto our group and seeing what everyone is saying and has to share for the day. It puts a smile on my face when someone has good advice or had a good sale. These are all truly special people and I’m proud to say that I’m part of such a wonderful group of individuals.
